Stewart Family | San Antonio Maternity Session
When you're pregnant with your first baby, you have all of the emotions. Fear, excitement, self doubt, nervousness, exhilaration. The works. Watching Brielle and Jeremy experience all of those emotions AND MORE in this beautiful maternity session was life giving! The kind of photo shoot that just feeds my soul as a family photographer and as a future mother. We hope to be in their shoes one day and hope to handle it with just as much grace and fun as they did :)
Brielle was hoping for a beautiful field-type location for their photos and we found one right in the heart of southside San Antonio! This cute field, part of the Greenline park, sat right in between four different apartment complexes. But from most of the photos, you wouldn't even be able to tell! It almost feels like you're in the middle of the hill country instead of 5 miles from downtown.
Brielle and Jeremy brought their handsome pup Walter (no matter how old they are, they're still pups in my mind!) and I brought along my cute friend Maggie to assist and we all had a blast! Between throwing around toys and treats for Walter, me falling into a giant hole (no worries, the bruise eveeentually healed), and Maggie almost getting blown away by the wind (she was holding my great big light reflector which apparently acts like a giant kite when the wind is blowing...) it was truly an eventful photoshoot. Enjoy the beautiful final results here!
Stewart family, it was truly a delight to serve your growing little family. Thank you for being kind, considerate, joyful clients! I had an absolute blast photographing this special time and I hope you will cherish these photos for years to come! I've heard so many young parents tell me that they regret not taking maternity photos for their first child because it's just something they hadn't thought about. I'm grateful that you guys did think about it and act on it so that I could meet your beautiful selves! You are going to be amazing parents; your little boy is truly blessed!
